What To Expect During A Typical Service

 

AMENITIES:

• Greeters - As you enter our church, you will be greeted by friendly people who will direct you to the sanctuary where all ages worship together.

• Ushers - these gentlemen will be on hand to help you find a seat if needed, and will also provide you with a service bulletin.

• Nursery -Across from the sanctuary is the nursery where you will find a well-staffed, clean and safe environment for infants and children ages 3 years and under.

• Nursing Room - We also have a nursing room in the back of the sanctuary, equipped with a monitor so nursing mothers don't miss out on the service.

•  We are a handicapped-accessible facility, equipped with several wheelchairs, walkers, bariatric chairs, and accessible bathrooms and doorways.

SUNDAY SCHOOL:

During the school year, we usually have at least one Sunday school class before our regular worship service for whole family groups. We love children, and encourage children and parents to take part in classes and learn together. Please check our church calendar for availability.

WORSHIP:

During the worship service, we sing contemporary worship music as well as some of the best hymns. We seek to minister to young and old during our worship service, so most Sundays include a children’s message before the sermon.

 

SERMON:

Every Sunday, we open up the Bible! We long to hear what God has to say through his Word and how it applies to our everyday lives. We have Bibles available under every seat, so that you may participate if you do not have one or you forgot your own. Our service typically lasts about 1 hour & 15 minutes. Children are encouraged to stay with their parents during services, so we do not hold any other classes during this time. We provide “Activity Bags” for younger children that contain a book, crayons, coloring sheets, and a kids' sermon note to help them and their parents be able to focus during the service. Children are encouraged to turn their completed sermon notes in to a pastor to show what they learned and heard, and if they have any questions.

FELLOWSHIP:

• Coffee Service - In the back of the Sanctuary is our fellowship area where we offer coffee and tea before and after the service, and you can chat with friends both old and new.

• Information - This is also where you will find information about us, including our Welcome Cart. We have lots of free Bibles, Bible reading plans, devotional guides, tracts, and more to help you with getting to know God!

• Prayer Room - our nursing room doubles as our prayer room after the service. Need someone to pray with you? We have loving prayer partners on hand to pray with you. Want us to pray for you? Fill out a prayer card and drop it into our Prayer Request box!
